Selma Blair & Jason Schwartzman, 2000
There are two things I love about this blog. The first is the most obvious: these two people dated? What did they talk about? The second is a reminder that fame, or anything really, is no protection for the heart. I wonder if Selma or Jason got that bubbly, nauseous feeling in their stomach after their relationship dissolved. I wonder if they slept a lot, or not at all, after the break-up. And I wonder if they listened to that episode of This American Life when Starlee Kine wrote a break-up song and played it for Phil Collins. (Probably not, unless they had a time machine. That episode came out seven years later.)
And unrelated to loving this blog, I wonder if Starlee ever got over Anthony.
